We place Marketing; Quality; Legal, Technology and R&D folks with specific knowledge of FDA regulated environments. Since we are based in San Diego we have a very strong network of candidates with previous Medical Device experience. This is a very strong growth area for us currently and we continue to welcome applicants with expertise in this field.
Technology
Although we cover the gamut of technical positions our recent focus has been on IT infrastructure and operations broadly broken into 3 areas:
Networking
We place networking professionals with a broad range of expertise across LAN/WAN technologies as well as specialists such as those in IP convergence; or HP Openview. Many of our clients require certifications -ranging from MCSE, CCNP, CCSA through CCIE. Others simply require an excellent understanding of network protocols and solid hands on experience. We are also able to place engineers with demonstrated leadership skills in network management roles up through director and VP level positions.
Unix
Which flavor you favor is almost incidental these days since most clients have adopted heterogeneous environments which largely incorporate at least 2 varieties of Unix box. With the move towards open source technologies we have seen an increase in the demand for seasoned Linux engineers who are familiar with LAMP architectures. We also frequently place Solaris; HP/UX and AIX administrators as well as Unix managers within large global organizations.
Information Security
One of the largest growth areas within IT recruitment in the last few years has been an increased need for Information Security professionals. Ranging from firewall administrators; security analysts and network security engineers through e-discovery and forensic specialists; PKI experts and Directors of Information Security through auditors everyone has had to make security a priority. We are frequently on the look out for CISSP, CISA certified professionals.
